L-VIS 1990 is making lots of banging bottomheavy fidgetty stuff that he's calling HYPERBASS. His Change The Game tune that was in our 4x4 Birthday mix deffinitely charts as one of my biggest tunes of the last few months. My bredrin Oneman DJ is threatening to drop it at DMZ so you get the picture.

STARKEY is about to drop his new mixtape Street Bass Anthems Volume 2 which I've heard and I can tell you is full of uncompromising steppa remixes and versions of big US tunes as well as all new original material. Here's a promo mix to coincide with the mixtape's release:

Finally, more about him later but I have to mention ClAUDE VONSTROKE. I love his squelchy but somehow still totally banging minimal house with a hint of booty, and have been playing this mix non-stop even though it's getting kinda old now...

Lol but also Word The Cat recently posted a great niche mix and others are taking note. The sound will totally take over, we're championing it alongside other bline stuff.

can i also just recommend dj q's latest 4x4 cd (volume 6). it's in uptown records. it might not even be that new. but it's great.
